Team Building FAQ
Is King required for every team?
No character is treated as universally required. King appears in several legacy baselines for healing, while Hendrickson is a lower-investment alternative to test in easier content. Verify survivability against the activity you are actually building for.
I didn't get Meliodas. What should I do?
Check the F2P Starter baseline, then confirm each character's current availability in game. Meliodas is not required to use this builder. Use the pity calculator to plan if you can reach pity before the banner ends.
Does weapon choice matter for teams?
Yes. Derieri is the clearest current example: Gauntlets is an attacker route, Greatsword is Fire support, and Axe is Darkness support. Other recommendations are marked as baselines unless the current source verifies their mechanics.
How important is element matching?
Element and role conditions determine whether a preset makes sense. Greatsword belongs with a Fire carry; Axe needs Darkness actions. Survival and field-time competition can still outweigh a theoretical synergy.
